Pride & Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite movies,- other movies that I love are Amelie and Inception-. I don’t know exactly why I chose this movie, but I want  share with you if  you want to watch it some day.

Pride and Prejudice is based on a book that has the same name that the one that was written by Jane Austen published in 1813. It is set in the 19th century, in England. 

The story is about Elizabeth Bennet, her family, and her love-hate relationship with Mr. Darcy, where the pride and the prejudice are central elements that make difficult their relationship for the context of the age.

The prejudices are social prejudices, because of belonging to a different social strata, he belongs to high class, she belongs to down stratum. And the pride derives from this. They cannot love each other because of the prejudices.

It is a romantic story, with a lot feelings of love and hate.

I think that this is the reason why I like it, but also I like it for the set, and the well performance of the actors.

And the actors are great, specially the main actors.

Elizabeth Bennet is play by Keira Knightley, and Mr. Darcy is play by Matthew Macfadyen.

An admirable person.

If exist someone that I admire so much in my field is Gabriel Salazar, who is my teacher of Social History of Chile.

He is a eminent historian of the Chilean's history. He is a founder of the historiographics trends called  New 

Social History, that it's based in the construction of history from the social actors that compose it.

He is, also, sociologyst and philosopher. 

He was born in 1936, in Chile, and studied his secundary education in the "Liceo de Aplicación". His superiors studies, carried out in the "Universidad deChile", were firts history in 1960, and after sociology and philosophy parallely.  

In 1970, Salazar joined to "MIR" (Movement of Revolutionary Left), and during the Dictadure, he was taken prisioner. 

In 2006, he won the Nacional Prize of History of Chile.

During his life he has wrotte a lot book like "farmworker, laborer, and proletarian", " In the name of the Popular Power Constituent"

He like me, because his way of to see the history is very interesting, that is a vision almost opposite to the history that teach on the schools. Is a  much more dinamic history, explaining the causes of  events, not just the event facts .

National festivities

Within the Chile's holidays, one of the most enjoyed by me is the national festivities, and are many reasons of why I enjoy the most. The first reason is that there are several free days, a week sometimes, that while in class to have a free week is much appreciated. Another reason is that I go visit my grandparents in the country, where I also share with all my family, and I eat good things as empanada and roast meat. Another good reason is that for those days spring starts, and I love spring, is my favorite season because everything is green and fresh, the temperature rises and there are flowers everwhere and this makes me very happy. And the last reason is that is my birthday - 21st september- that generally is inside the free week and they celebrate me, so I have a better time.

For all this  the national festivities is the one that I enjoy the most but no precisely for what those days mean. I don't care about the patriotism or army. 

Photographs...

If there is something that I really like is photograph. I like to take photographs and sometimes look at photos that someone else took. Like the photo above.  I like to find sense in it, that expresses something, that it can feel through of it. 

I don't have one favorite photograph, I have many, but I chose this one because I feel very expressive, I can feel heat of summer afternoon and the warm breeze. I love how it is taken. It is very nice.

This photograph is taken by a Turkish photographer, called Metin Demilaray, I found him on web page Deviantart.com, and he has really wonderful works. I think that I love all his works.

Someday, I would like to take photograph like this one, expressives and beautiful.

The photograph it is a good way for to show the world, it's a lovely and precious art.

The Children's voice

 Within in the demands of Chile the last time, it's add other that  result very peculiar. In my opinion I found very valuable that the different groups that  form our society have right to express, right to voice, as the subjetc protagonist of the following new:

  In Santa Cruz, a small town in the sixth region of Chile, a group of 150 children protested for a new place to play, because the old-place for playing was damaged and ugly. The children protested on the squore with banner expressing their discomfort for the bad way of the games, because this games was rusty and swings was cut.They wanted new games. The Santa Cruz's Mayor, Sergio Muñoz payed attention about their demands, but for the moment it's just patch solutions, because just painted their old games and mended a bit the others.

The new games will be installed in January of the next year. Meanwhile the children have to keep waiting for the games to be installed.

Although the children will wait for 8 months to see the new games, I like to see that the children can express their ideas and they can be heard.

Today I'm going talk about a very special person to me, my best friend!

His name is Tomás, I met him at the university  the last year.

He is a very sweet and honest person, he is clever and very responsible - to difference of me hahaha-, he is a bit impulsive and he thinks that his life it's a movie.

The greatest between us is that we think similar about the life and I think that it makes us get along well.

The most I like to do with he is enjoy the life, walking on any park, eating o drinkin  coffee, or simply talking about anything, sometimes very superficial and sometimes very deep.

We are actually differents in several aspects, and this it's cool too.

He always help me with everything and he don't like to see me sad. He actually make me happy and I think that he is the best. I love him so much.

About a piece of technology

The life that we live is surround of technology, for a lot of people is almost essential, and I'm not out of this. 

Two pieces of technology are important for my life. My computer and my cellphone. 

The computer came to me when I was eight years old, and since then it has serve me for much things. And also with the internet, they opened me the world.

On the other hand, my first cellphone I had it when I was 10 years old. I has have about six cellphone, and the last is like a mini-computer. I like it because I can talk with my family and my friends anywhere.

A profit of the technology is the connectivity that the people has with other people, and with the world in general.

I think that without technology in my life, it would be bored.
